Bluetooth App Setup
Choose Android or iPhone instructions to connect StoryClaw to WiFi through the mobile App.
Use the StoryClaw mobile App to send WiFi information to the device over Bluetooth. Choose your phone platform below and follow the corresponding steps.
Use StoryClaw remotely after setup
Once the device stays powered on and connected to the network, you can use your StoryClaw from anywhere through the mobile App or the web console at storyclaw.com.
WiFi requirements
Use a home or office WiFi network that connects directly with a password. Networks in hotels, airports, or shopping malls that require browser authentication are not suitable for this Bluetooth setup flow.
Before you start
- Place StoryClaw where the WiFi signal is stable.
- Connect the power cable and press the power button once. Continue when the button shows a steady white light.
- Prepare a phone with internet access, the WiFi name and password, and an email address that can receive a verification code.
- Keep the phone within 1 meter of the device during Bluetooth connection.
Setup flow
Power on → Install App → Sign in with email → Connect via Bluetooth → Configure WiFi → Confirm online
Android and iPhone differ only during App download and installation. After StoryClaw opens, device discovery, Bluetooth connection, WiFi delivery, and completion confirmation are substantially the same.
Choose your phone platform
Android Setup
Download and install the Android APK, then complete Bluetooth setup.
iPhone Setup
Install StoryClaw through TestFlight, then complete Bluetooth setup.
Completion criteria
When the App shows Setup Complete and the device appears online in the device list, Bluetooth setup is complete. If you change WiFi later, repeat the Bluetooth setup from network settings or the setup entry in the App.
