Network Setup & Activation

Choose your setup method and connect your device to WiFi, then bind your account.

First-time activation takes about 3–5 minutes. Once WiFi and account binding are complete, the device connects automatically on every subsequent boot.

WiFi Requirements

  • Recommended: Home broadband, office direct WiFi (password only)
  • Note: For hotel, airport, or mall networks requiring a browser login page, connect a monitor, mouse, and keyboard to the device first to complete authentication

Tip

No need to carry the device with you — place StoryClaw in a stable home WiFi environment once, then access and use it from anywhere via the App or console. No need to travel with the device.

Which setup method does my device use?

It depends on the batch: earlier batches use Hotspot Setup, newer batches use Bluetooth App Setup. If unsure, contact your sales representative.

Method 1 · Hotspot Setup

Connect phone to device hotspot, open setup page and enter WiFi password. (Earlier Batches)

Method 2 · Bluetooth App Setup

Push WiFi credentials via StoryClaw App Bluetooth. (Newer Batches)

Hotspot Setup (Earlier Batches)

Connect your phone to the device's WiFi hotspot, open the setup page, enter your home WiFi password, then sign in and bind the device.

Flow: Boot → Join hotspot → Enter WiFi → Switch back → Sign in → Bind device

Bluetooth App Setup (Newer Batches)

Push WiFi credentials to the device via the StoryClaw App's Bluetooth feature. Setup takes about 1–2 minutes.

Before you start

StoryClaw App is installed, phone Bluetooth is on, and the device is powered on and running.

Flow: Open App → Add via Bluetooth → Scan & discover → Enter WiFi info → Setup complete
