Network Setup & Activation

Connect StoryClaw to WiFi and bind your account through Bluetooth App Setup.

First-time activation takes about 3–5 minutes. StoryClaw now uses Bluetooth App Setup. Once WiFi and account binding are complete, the device connects automatically on every subsequent boot.

WiFi Requirements

  • Recommended: Home broadband, office direct WiFi (password only)
  • Note: For hotel, airport, or mall networks requiring a browser login page, connect a monitor, mouse, and keyboard to the device first to complete authentication

Tip

No need to carry the device with you — place StoryClaw in a stable home WiFi environment once, then access and use it from anywhere via the App or console. No need to travel with the device.

Before you start

Place StoryClaw where the WiFi signal is stable, connect power, and press the power button once. Continue when the button shows a steady white light. Keep the phone within 1 meter of the device and turn on Bluetooth.

Android Setup

Download the Android APK, install StoryClaw, and complete Bluetooth setup.

iPhone Setup

Install StoryClaw through TestFlight, then complete Bluetooth setup.

Bluetooth App Setup

Android and iPhone differ only during App download and installation. After StoryClaw opens, device discovery, Bluetooth connection, WiFi delivery, and completion confirmation are substantially the same.

Flow: Power on → Install App → Sign in with email → Connect via Bluetooth → Configure WiFi → Confirm online

Completion criteria

When the App shows Setup Complete and the device appears online in the device list, setup is complete. Keep the device powered on and connected to the network to use it remotely through the StoryClaw App or web console.
